Cost: $50

You’re invited to Survivors of Torture, International’s 9th Birthday Celebration of Hope and Healing. This year’s event features a performance of “I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document Given to Me by a Young Lady from Rwanda,” a powerful and inspiring play about a torture survivor presented by local professional actors. The play will be followed by a reception featuring San Diego’s finest chocolate and cabernet.

The Celebration of Hope and Healing is SURVIVORS' only public fundraiser of the year. The event benefits survivors of politically-motivated torture living in San Diego County— 100% of the money from each ticket will go directly toward programs that help these vulnerable new Americans to heal and become self-sufficient and healthy members of our community. We invite you to explore our web site to discover more about the work we do.
